We are looking for someone to join our catering team to provide a quality service to our residents
To ensure all areas of the kitchen are clean and tidy to meet Company standards
To assist in preparation of food for the residents dining experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensure the Kitchen is tidy at all times
* Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and wear uniform as per company policy
* Assist in preparation of food as required by the Chef
* Undertake the cleaning schedule as per Food Safety Manual
* Undertake pot wash duties and clean area daily
* Ensure dining area and all units are cleaned of all used crockery and cutlery after meals and returned to the Kitchen for washing
* Check twice daily and remove any used crockery and cutlery to the Kitchen for washing
* Check sub-kitchens daily and replenish supplies as required
* At the end of each shift ensure cleaning schedules have been undertaken and cleaning forms signed
* Ensure the Kitchen is left clean and tidy. All bins to be emptied at the end of each shift
* Undertake statutory training as directed by the Chef
Generic Core Duties
* Positively promote the Home through personal conduct both within and outside working hours
* Ensure that you have read and understood all relevant company policies and procedures and that you comply with these at all times
* Attend and participate in all training sessions and staff meetings as required
* Maintain good working relationships with all colleagues at all times
* Any other reasonable instruction from the Chef or Home Manager, which is within your area of competence.
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: £12.36 per hour
Expected hours: 19 per week
