Job Summary
An excellent opportunity for experienced or newly qualified nurses to join the team on the Enhanced Recovery Unit at Royal Papworth Hospital. We seek dynamic, motivated, and compassionate registered nurses to join our highly specialist, internationally renowned multidisciplinary team. Our state-of-the-art facilities aim to improve patient flow and provide outstanding holistic care. The unit comprises 14 beds, supporting postoperative recovery and shorter hospital stays. It is a standalone nurse-led unit with support from a dedicated lead surgeon. Interviews are scheduled for 17th May 2025.
Main Duties
1. Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the unit.
2. Participate in and contribute to the unit’s development and improvement initiatives.
3. Support patient recovery and ensure holistic care.
4. Engage in ongoing professional development with access to expert mentors and education programs, including critical care courses at degree or MSc level.
5. Uphold the hospital's values of compassion, excellence, and collaboration in all interactions.

Minimum Requirements
* Registration with NMC
* Diploma in Nursing (Degree in Nursing and Critical Care competencies desirable)
* Proven clinical practice experience
* Knowledge of NMC Code and clinical governance
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
* Commitment to uphold the Trust’s values of compassion, excellence, and collaboration
