Our client, a highly respected and successful Estate Agency, is looking to recruit a Property Inspector to join their busy team in Upminster. This is a varied and fast-paced role offering the opportunity to work independently while being part of a supportive and well-established business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out property inspections throughout the tenancy process, producing detailed reports, liaising with tenants and landlords, and supporting the wider Property Management team.
As a Property Inspector, you will be offered:

The ideal Property Inspector will have:
9. Previous experience within Residential Lettings or Property Management
10. Strong communication and customer service skills
11. Excellent attention to detail
12. A highly organised and proactive approach
13. The ability to manage a busy schedule and prioritise workloads
14. Confidence dealing with landlords and tenants face-to-face
15. Good IT skills including tablets, Microsoft Office, and internal systems
16. A full UK driving licence and own vehicle
As a Property Inspector, your key responsibilities will be:
17. Carrying out property inspections and compiling detailed reports using bespoke software on an iPad
18. Conducting mid-term inspections and updating landlords on property condition
19. Identifying maintenance issues and liaising with Property Managers to ensure works are resolved
20. Supporting tenants with property upkeep and discussing any concerns professionally
21. Completing check-in and check-out inspections
22. Producing clear photographic and written evidence reports
23. Assisting with deposit negotiations between landlords and tenants at the end of tenancies
24. Preparing documentation for deposit disputes and adjudication where required
25. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all reports are completed within deadlines
