Social Value Consultant (Policy Monitoring & Evaluation) – WSP UK & Ireland
Overview
WSP’s Intelligent Infrastructure discipline supports a range of clients in transport and beyond, helping them meet Social Value objectives through impact strategy, supply chain data collection, reporting, and compliance. In this role you will embed Social Value into major infrastructure schemes across Highways, Rail, and Energy, working collaboratively with specialists and clients to develop, deliver and assess Social Value plans.
Responsibilities
* Develop and own client Social Value frameworks at regional or project level.
* Conduct local needs analyses to understand community challenges and opportunities for impact.
* Co‑create bespoke Social Value plans and deliver them with Project Directors and the wider team.
* Advocate for Social Value across the supply chain through communication and dissemination.
* Measure, report and optimise Social Value against client KPIs, contributing to wider monitoring and evaluation capability.
* Provide expert advice to clients and partners, ensuring budgets support Social Value commitments.
Qualifications
* Passion for evidence‑informed decision‑making and robust Social Value evidence.
* Experience evaluating and measuring Social Value data.
* Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills (statistical, economic or social research).
* Ability to articulate impact stories through case studies.
* Expertise in fostering successful collaborations and communicating insights to diverse audiences.
* Proven track record of working collaboratively in multi‑partner environments, multi‑tasking to meet programme needs.
