We are looking for a dedicated SENDCO to lead and join our SEND team. The role involves a small teaching allocation of around 16/50 periods. We are seeking for someone who can start with us on 1 September 2025. We are looking for someone who has either completed the National Award for SEND Co-ordination or has considerable progress towards it. As a member of the Leadership Team the role will include other whole school responsibilities.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young persons and head teachers must ensure that the highest priority is given to following the guidance and regulations to safeguard children and young people. An Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be required from the successful candidate.This vacancy is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act as the work brings employees into contact with children who are regarded by the Act as a vulnerable group.
