You’ll join DVSA as a Lead Portfolio Delivery Manager, acting as the head of Agile Delivery within a core value stream.
In this role, you will:
* Lead a major delivery portfolio and shape how digital services are delivered
* Work alongside senior leaders across Digital, Operations and Policy
* Influence strategy and improve how teams deliver high-impact services
* Build and grow a high-performing, inclusive agile delivery community
* Provide strategic leadership for agile delivery across the agency
* Lead and develop a high-performing delivery community
* Work with senior leaders to ensure delivery aligns with strategic priorities
* Measure success through business outcomes, performance and user value
* Manage risks, issues and dependencies across a large delivery portfolio
* Support teams to resolve complex challenges and unblock delivery
* Drive a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
* Ensure delivery meets security, accessibility and compliance standards
Qualifications
* Significant experience leading agile delivery functions
* Experience managing large, cross-functional teams (both direct and virtual)
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to influence across Digital, Operations and Policy environments
* Experience managing portfolios, roadmaps, risks and dependencies at a strategic level
* A collaborative approach with the ability to work across multiple disciplines
