Join the dynamic and forward-thinking team at the London Borough of Croydon, the most populous borough in London, known for its rich history and vibrant cultural scene. As part of our ongoing transformation, driven by the Mayor's business plan, we are committed to creating a place of opportunity, improving financial sustainability, and enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

- With significant regeneration and growth plans underway, including the Croydon Town Centre Regeneration Programme, we are focused on revitalising our commercial and corporate property sectors to drive economic recovery and renewal.
- This is an exciting time to be part of Croydon, as we embrace positive change and work towards a brighter future. Join us and contribute to making Croydon a place we can all be proud to call home.
Your new role
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Asset Management, you will strategically contribute to the council's property portfolio, where the best use and income generation/cost savings opportunities are delivered.
You will also participate in acquisitions, disposals, and valuations for the council as a landlord or tenant.
You will deliver on the Corporate Asset Management plan to meet the council's vision.
You will be the key commercial property advisor, ensuring all property and asset management are managed professionally and within guidelines.

Experience dealing with educational properties, landlord and tenant matters.
Skills to manage a small asset management team effectively.
Ideally, MRICS qualification or a desire to become chartered with a relevant degree (RICS Accredited).
