We're currently looking for an experienced Generator Test Engineer to support long-term works on a major project in Sheffield.
This role is a mix of hands-on testing, commissioning support, and client interaction, working alongside a Tier 1 contractor to ensure generator systems are delivered, tested, and operating to spec.
The Role:
* Carry out generator testing including load bank testing
* Support commissioning and handover of generator systems
* Fault finding and troubleshooting during testing phases
* Attend and contribute to client / Tier 1 meetings
* Review and discuss technical specifications and system performance
* Ensure all works are completed safely and in line with project requirements
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience working with generators (diesel / temporary power)
* Experience with load bank testing and commissioning
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Ability to read and understand electrical drawings / schematics
* Confident communicating with clients and site teams
* Previous experience working alongside Tier 1 contractors (desirable)
