The Thomas Lord Audley School Family Liaison Officer Salary Grade: Local Government Scale 7 Point 19-24 Actual Salary: £23,394 – £25,955 Full time/Part time: 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year Start Date: As soon as possible The Role The Thomas Lord Audley School is looking to recruit a Family Liaison Officer. This is a new post and will add to our already outstanding pastoral care. The successful candidate will help to ensure our students are well supported, that they have excellent attendance and will work closely with families to help ensure our young people become the best that they can be. Some of your key responsibilities will include: To make offsite visits to families and alternative education providers (own transport is essential). To provide direct support with students and with parents/carers in order to support the work undertaken in school. To promote and facilitate pupils’ attendance at school. To help establish and maintain positive relationships between school staff and parents/carers and encourage the consistent use of behaviour management techniques at home.
