THE EXCITING OPPORTUNITY We opened the first 5* Hotel in Liverpool; The Municipal Hotel & Spa MGallery in May 2023 and have reset the clock within this historic building, bringing it back to life. Our Heartists aspire to create memorable, heartfelt moments for all life enjoyers to experience unique stories from the past but also to immerse themselves into our hospitality, creating their own astonishing tales of MGallery magical moments. We boast 179 stunning bedrooms set in a remarkable and inspiring landmark of the city. Time is of essence and at the heart of The Municipal's story. The iconic clock tower and bells giving the tempo to a timeless melody. Various restaurants, bars and a state-of-the-art spa sanctuary experience, will offer everyone the place to have the time of their lives, pause the clock and embark upon their own magical journey with MGallery. MGallery - Boutique hotels with one-of-a-kind designs (accor.com) A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A EVENING HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY What you'll be doing We are looking for new Evening Shift Housekeeping Assistants in order to offer a turn down service to our guests. This involves cleaning and tidying rooms and bathrooms in preparation for the evening wind down. This role is flexible shifts and as a hotel we operate over 7 days therefore flexibility with your days of work (inclusive of weekends) is a must. In addition to the turn down service our Housekeeping Assistants complete a variety of duties based on business requirements, from linen porterage, cleaning of public areas, in house laundry, logistic / storage and top up of supplies and cleaning and servicing guest bedrooms. When you enter our hotel you will be "wowed" and we aspire for our guests to be bowled over too by the memorable visual impact of our rooms and public areas. Our Housekeeping Heartist team works in harmony with all departments to delivery 5* hospitality in our rooms and/or public areas. The ultimate goal is to maintain our 5* atmosphere with care and precision for the finer details and have a strong awareness of time management. Our Heartists work with precision and care to enhance the guest experience. Offering personalised touches, exuding a passion for the finer details and in providing a luxury inner sanctuary for our guests. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements A positive can do attitude and the passion to provide 5* Hospitality. To have excellent teamwork and communication skills, establishing strong relationships across all departments. The provision of care and a passion for delivering a positive guest experience and promoting 5* standards. To excel in time management and pride in standards of work.
