Hays are recruiting for a Client Relationship Manager in Manchester City Centre. The CRM will be responsible for engaging warm leads, nurturing prospective clients, and converting inbound enquiries into qualified appointments. This is a fast‑paced, people‑focused role ideal for someone ambitious,mercially driven, and confident speaking to new clients daily. The role plays a vital part in supporting business growth through exceptional relationship building, consistent follow‑up, and accurate CRM management. This is a fully office-based role.
Your new role
The successful candidate will:
1. Receive, prioritise, and respond to warm leads generated through marketing, referrals, and inbound channels.
2. Proactively contact prospective clients via phone, email, and messaging to understand their needs.
3. Convert warm leads into booked appointments, consultations, or sales opportunities for advisors.
4. Follow structured lead‑nurturing processes to maximise conversion rates.
5. Build rapport quickly and professionally with prospective clients to create trust and confidence.
6. Ask discovery questions to assess suitability and align client needs with the service offering.
7. Maintain regularmunication and follow‑up to ensure a high-quality client experience from first contact.
8. Log all interactions, follow-ups, and oues in the CRM system accurately and promptly.
9. Manage lead pipelines, ensuring no opportunity is missed or left un-contacted.
10. Track conversion metrics and lead progress.
11. Use CRM insights to improve conversion performance and client engagement strategy.
12. Work closely with the widermercial, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless handover of booked appointments or new clients.
13. Provide feedback on lead quality, trends, and client needs to support continuous improvement.
14. Contribute to the development of scripts, outreach strategies, and conversion processes.
15. Demonstrate a proactive and ambitious approach to hitting and exceeding conversion targets.
16. Bring energy, resilience, and ownership to the role with a focus on progression.
17. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automate touchpoints, and enhance client experience.
What you'll need to succeed

25. Experience in client relationship management, lead generation, inside sales, or customer success desirable.
26. Background in a client-facing, outbound calling, or warm‑lead conversion environment is advantageous.
27. Strong digital literacy, ideally including CRM or marketing automation tools.
