Private Dentist opportunity in a Ballyclare practice, just 12 miles north of Belfast. We are looking for a motivated clinician to join a supportive team on a maternity cover basis in our Ballyclare practice, with a well-established local reputation.

* Start Date: Available as of May 2026, however a flexible start will be considered.
* Days and Hours: Surgery space available 3 days per week across Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays
* Well established practice with a strong plan base
* Fully digitalised with OPG machine and Itero intraoral scanner
* Private practice - Private, NHS (children)
* Large membership plan to be transferred
* 4 surgery practice
* Computerised and digital x rays
* Hygienist available 4 days per week and access to a dental therapist

* Lovely family based practice with an excellent reputation in the community and a loyal patient base
* Ideal expanding location with close proximity and easy commute to Belfast, Antrim, Larne and Ballymena
Role and responsibilities
We are seeking a Private Dentist to provide private dentistry services and contribute to high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will work with a supportive practice team, maintain clinical autonomy, and participate in private treatments including implants restoration, orthodontics (including Invisalign), cosmetic treatments, and general dentistry to support a broad patient base.
About Ballyclare Dental Practice
Ballyclare Dental Practice is an established local practice with a 50-year reputation for delivering outstanding dentistry in the community. It has been private since 2006. Approximately 95% of patients are private, with a balance of plan patients and fee-per-item patients. Our surgeries are fully digitalised with an OPG machine and Itero intraoral scanner. We offer a wide range of private treatments with an emphasis on smile design and composite bonding, supported by a loyal and experienced team.
