Apprentice Transport Administrator
Hourly Rate – £10.25 per hour
Hours – 37.50 hours per week, 08:00 to 16:00
Location & Postcode – Wastewise, HU10 6TS
As an Apprentice Transport Administrator at FCC Environment, you will provide administrative support to the transport team, ensuring fleet compliance and accurate record-keeping.
You will be expected to complete administrative tasks, maintain fleet records, support customer communications and assist in the smooth day-to-day running of transport operations in line with company procedures.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Maintaining accurate fleet records and ensuring compliance with fleet requirements
- Uploading vehicle inspections to internal systems (e.g. Asset Go)
- Responding to customer emails and processing information for planning and transport teams
- Managing driver and transport training records via internal systems (IMS)
- Answering phone calls, taking accurate messages and processing information efficiently
- Supporting the coordination and smooth running of transport operations
- Assisting with planning routes and gaining an understanding of operational requirements
- Maintaining compliance calendars for vehicles and fleet activities
- Raising and receipting purchase orders
