GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Customer Service Specialist – Rotating Machines to join our Field Services team based in the United Kingdom.
Role Overview
The Customer Service Specialist for rotating machines coordinates customer connect processes, annual inspection campaigns, and prepares accurate quotations for field service, spare parts, repairs, and replacements.
This role exists to provide high‑quality customer service and commercial support for GE Vernova’s Rotating Machines business, ensuring customers receive timely, accurate information and a seamless service experience. By organising annual inspection campaigns, managing customer connect processes, and preparing quotations across field service and aftermarket offerings, the role helps maintain strong customer relationships and supports operational efficiency. It requires proactive issue resolution, short‑term planning, and adherence to daily work objectives, all of which contribute directly to driving revenue growth and strengthening the overall performance of the RMR Service organisation.
Your Impact
* Lead customer reconnect activities, annual inspection scheduling, and service campaign coordination to strengthen customer engagement and operational readiness.
* Manage incoming enquiries, interpret RFQs, and identify commercial or contractual risks to ensure accurate, compliant, and competitive proposals.
* Prepare high‑quality quotations for field service, spare parts, repairs, and replacements, meeting SLA expectations and supporting revenue growth.
* Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, sourcing, sales, and commercial teams to ensure bids are technically sound, commercially aligned, and fully validated.
* Oversee tender management and supplier coordination, providing leads and customer insights to the sales team while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
* Maintain accurate data, records, and market intelligence to support forecasting, trend analysis, and continuous improvement across RMR Services.

* Comfortable using CRM tools and digital systems, with Excel skills (including lookups) viewed as a beneficial asset.
* Self‑motivated team player who can adapt the role to their strengths while contributing to shared goals.
