We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Person for Castlewood care Home, it is a brand new, state-of-the-art care home in Clitheroe

Castlewood Home is a brand new, state-of-the-art care home for the elderly, opening in the heart of Clitheroe. As our Maintenance Person, you'll be the go-to expert for keeping our home in top condition. From fixing a leaky tap to ensuring safety systems are working properly, your work will directly support the wellbeing and comfort of everyone at Castlewood.

What You'll Do:

* Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the home
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
* Liaise with contractors and suppliers when needed
* Keep records of maintenance tasks and inspections
* Support the setup of new equipment and furnishings

What You'll Bring:

* Proven experience in general maintenance, repairs, or a trade
* Practical knowledge of health & safety and compliance standards
* A proactive, problem-solving attitude
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
* Respectful and friendly approach to residents and staff
* Flexibility to respond to urgent issues when needed
