PERTEMPS LEEDS have an exciting opportunity for you to join one of the UK’s largest house builders! Our client's Yorkshire Division, located in Leeds, is looking for a Customer Care Coordinator to join the Division’s Customer Care team.
The Position:
Customer Care Coordinator
1. Reporting to the Division’s Head of Customer Care.
Main accountabilities include:
2. Ensure all calls received into the department are managed appropriately and issues are logged.
3. Coordinate the supply of material and sub-contractor elements together ensuring maintenance requests are carried out.
4. Communicate with the Customer Care Manager/Team Leader to ensure all defects are followed up and dealt with by the appropriate personnel.
5. Maintain the relevant Customer Care log/monitor.
6. Check invoices and forward for payment.
7. Liaise with the Buying department to order materials as and when required.
8. Ensure defects are reported to sub-contractors on a regular basis.
9. Arrange completion of end of defect works for Housing Associations.
10. Liaise with Site Teams to ensure remedial works are completed within timescales.
11. Liaise with Sales Teams to ensure customer queries are answered.
12. Book appointments for suppliers, sub-contractors, site teams to deal with latent building defects.
Experience:
13. Experience of working as an Administrator in a fast paced environment.
14. Experience of working within the construction or house building sector is desirable.
Qualifications & Training:
15. GCSE Maths and English | Grade 4+ (or equivalent)
Skillset:
16. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people
17. Ability to liaise with internal and external personnel
18. Good administration skills with the ability to coordinate numerous issues during the working day
19. Able to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
20. Ability to work on own initiative
21. Proficient IT skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and outlook)

The Role and Working Conditions
23. Willing to be flexible in respect to day to day duties and hours worked
24. Ability to travel to all development sites, including the divisional office
25. This role requires occasional Saturday working from 09:00am - 13:00pm
