Computing Teacher | Barnet | Outstanding Boys' School, Enfield
This is a permanent, full-time position at an Outstanding Boys' School in Barnet, starting in September. The successful candidate will teach Computing to male students across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering computational thinking and digital literacy skills.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver engaging Computing lessons covering programming, data science, and digital technologies.
* Prepare students for GCSE Computer Science exams and practical assessments.
* Create a creative, problem-solving learning environment.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Contribute to curriculum development and technology integration.
* Encourage participation in extracurricular computing activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in Computer Science or Computing.
* Experience teaching Computing at secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
* Strong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, and computer systems.
* Excellent communication and instructional skills.
* Ability to motivate male students in computational thinking and problem-solving.
