We are now seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to join our leadership team and help drive growth, performance, and patient satisfaction.
The Role
As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting the Practice Manager and Directors, and ensuring the team is motivated, efficient, and delivering to agreed KPIs.
This role is ideal for someone with previous management experience (dental or healthcare experience an advantage but not essential) who is target-driven, highly organised, and confident leading people.
Responsibilities
Support the Practice Manager in overseeing daily operations across the clinic.
Lead, motivate and support the team to ensure excellent patient care and service delivery.
Monitor and deliver on KPIs including patient flow, treatment acceptance, revenue, and operational efficiency.
Ensure staff rotas, scheduling, and workflow are well organised and maintained.
Handle recruitment, training, and staff development where required.
Uphold compliance with CQC, GDC, and HTM 01-05 standards (training can be provided if needed).
Assist in marketing initiatives, patient communication, and service improvements.
Support in financial reporting, stock control, and general administrative duties.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
Experienced in a management or supervisory role (dental/healthcare experience a plus but not essential).
Target and KPI driven, with a proven track record of meeting goals.
A confident leader with excellent people-management skills.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive.
A strong communicator, able to engage effectively with patients and staff.
Comfortable with IT/CRM systems, reporting, and handling data.
Flexible, professional, and committed to high standards of service.
What We Offer
£30,000 – £35,000 base salary (depending on Performance-related bonuses on top of base salary.
Full-time permanent position, typically 40 hours per week (some evening and weekend cover may be required).
