Are you an enthusiastic Science Teacher with a passion for inspiring young minds?
Tradewind Recruitment is currently supporting a number of secondary schools in Northampton that are looking to appoint committed and engaging Science Teachers from September 2025. These are full-time, long-term roles that offer excellent development opportunities and the chance to be part of thriving, supportive school communities.
Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, you'll be delivering exciting and impactful lessons that engage learners across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them build confidence and curiosity in the sciences.
What you'll be doing:
Delivering high-quality Science lessons that are well-planned, inclusive, and in line with the national curriculum
Teaching across KS3 and KS4 with the potential for A-Level, depending on experience
Using effective assessment to monitor progress and inform future teaching
Managing behaviour confidently to create a focused learning environment
Contributing to department planning, extracurricular activities, and whole-school initiatives
You'll be a great fit if you:
Hold UK QTS or an equivalent overseas teaching qualification with UK teaching experience
Have recent experience teaching Science in secondary schools
Bring strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching
Have excellent communication and classroom management skills
Are proactive, flexible, and eager to contribute to school life
