4M Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Management Support Worker to work for a rewarding Charity. 4M Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Housing Support Worker to work for a rewarding Charity who provide practical help and personalised support through their education, housing, justice and health and wellbeing services. 35 hours per week Monday- Friday and 1 Saturday per month Shift Rota - Morning 8am-4pm and afternoon 2-10pm Home working between property and office visits Full driving license and car owner essential £17.93 per hour via Umbrella Company This role will support service users across 3-4 properties who are vulnerable adult service leaving the criminal justice system who are based in charity properties in the Bromley / Orpington area plus surrounding areas. This role will be providing support for vulnerable adult service users offering a person centred support ensuring service users build confidence and independence as well as providing housing and property management solutions with the aim of achieving a successful move-on. Typical tasks will include: Plan and deliver effective support and safety plans with the service user referring to specialist agencies as required. Ensure that properties are always adequately equipped, maintained, furnished, and cleaned. Support residents to understand responsibilities that will help them keep their accommodation. Empower and motivate service users to identify and achieve desired outcomes. Develop a move-on plan with service users at the earliest opportunity, identifying realistic options for their future home. The ideal candidate will ideally have some previous support work or housing experience in a similar sector and have a passion for supporting and helping others from vulnerable backgrounds such as mental health, substance misuse, homelessness, etc. You will ideally have a understanding of people with in the criminal justice system with an understanding of safeguarding and working with people who have complex needs.
