Salary: £(phone number removed)pa + additional pay for sleep-in shifts
Hours: Full-time / Part-time (including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts)

Role Summary:
We are looking for a committed and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care, support children’s emotional and educational needs, and take a lead role in mentoring and guiding other staff members. This role requires flexibility, including participation in sleep-in shifts, which are paid at an additional rate.
Key Responsibilities:
 * 
 Provide day-to-day care and support to children in line with their care plans.
 * 
 Lead, mentor, and supervise junior staff to ensure excellent standards of care.
 * 
 Maintain accurate records, reports, and logs in line with Ofsted requirements.
 * 
 Implement positive behaviour management strategies and support children in resolving conflicts.
 * 
 Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
 * 
 Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health, and safety regulations.
 * 
 Attend team meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
 * 
 Undertake sleep-in shifts as required (paid additionally).
Person Specification:
 * 
 Experience working in children’s homes or similar settings, ideally with ALD.
 * 
 Previous experience in a senior or leadership role is highly desirable.
 * 
 Strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted regulations.
 * 
 Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
 * 
 Flexible approach to work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
 * 
 Ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues.
