Our newly built care home is based in the charming suburb of Pinhoe, Exeter. We offer exceptional standards of Nursing, Residential, Dementia, and Respite care for 67 residents.

What We Offer

* 48 contracted hours per week with night shifts

Your Role
As Night Nurse at Alexander House, you will play a vital leadership role during the night shift, ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate, and personalised care. You will be responsible for managing clinical assessments, monitoring residents’ health status, and responding promptly to emergencies. Your clinical expertise will support the night team, and you will coordinate seamless handovers, maintaining effective communication with day staff and healthcare professionals.
You will oversee medication management, administer treatments safely, and ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant. Beyond clinical duties, you will mentor and support junior staff, encouraging a culture of respect, dignity, and continuous improvement. Your role will be central to creating a secure and nurturing environment where residents can rest peacefully.
What We’re Looking For
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC PIN
* Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to remain calm and decisive in emergencies
* Experience in care home or community nursing preferred but not essential
* Committed to professional development and team collaboration
