Accounts Senior - Buckinghamshire (Bucks)
Full Time | Permanent | Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join our busy and supportive team based in Buckinghamshire (Bucks).
As an Accounts Senior, you will work closely with Client Managers and Directors to deliver high-quality accounting and taxation services to a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders. The role also involves supporting and mentoring Accounts Trainees and other junior team members to help them progress in their development.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders
* Preparation of corporation tax computations and self-assessment tax returns
* Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
* Providing accounting software training and supporting clients with software-related queries
* Assisting Client Managers and Directors with the delivery of technical knowledge and advice
* Mentoring and supporting the development of Trainees and other junior staff, identifying and resolving knowledge gaps effectively
Skills, Experience, and Attributes
* ACCA/ACA qualified (or qualified by experience) with at least three years' experience gained within an accountancy practice
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel & Word); experience with Digita Suite, SAGE, QuickBooks, Xero, Virtual Cabinet, DEXT, or Auto Entry is desirable
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Proactive, organised, and able to manage deadlines effectively
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive client relationships
