Job Description:
Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Psychological Therapist to work within a specialist CYP trauma service based in East London and covering surrounding areas.

About the employer:
This employer delivers bespoke packages to children and young people who have experienced developmental trauma working with children's residential homes, local authorities, supported accommodation providers and educational settings. This employer also provides therapeutic support to organisations to help the development of their trauma informed practice.
Role snapshot:
The essence of the role will be working with external organizations, including schools and educational settings, offering consultations, reflective practice, direct therapeutic input, assessments, and training. The post holder will also provide psychological assessments, formulation and interventions to children, young people and their families.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help develop this therapy service contributing to the wider company’s centre of excellence in the field of developmental trauma and attachment.
Contract type – permanent
Hours – 4 – 5 days per week can be considered
Salary - £30,000 - £45,000 FTE
Experience required:
Those applying will have experience of working with within CYP residential or LAC services. Registration/accreditation with the relevant governing body is mandatory.
