Role context: You’ll lead the delivery of high-quality Build-to-Rent (BTR) developments across the UK, collaborating with Transactions Managers, Asset Managers, and Fund Managers to deliver residential assets that meet investor expectations and community needs.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading the end-to-end delivery of major urban BTR developments across the UK
* Overseeing direct developments and development fundings in line with business plans
* Preparing and maintaining development budgets, financial appraisals, and cashflows
* Negotiating and managing building contracts and consultant appointments
* Ensuring compliance with funding agreements and reporting obligations
* Providing technical oversight and resolving issues throughout the development cycle
* Collaborating with internal teams to align development activity with portfolio goals
* Building strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders
Qualifications
* Proven experience delivering large-scale residential developments, ideally BTR
* Strong technical knowledge of construction, design management, and quality standards
* Competence in financial appraisals, budgeting, and cashflow forecasting
* Solid understanding of JCT building contracts and their administration
* Familiarity with development funding agreements and obligations
* Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication abilities
* Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with a professional qualification (e.g. MRICS, CIOB)
