About Our Client

Job Description
Property & Corporate Estate
3. Provide legal support on property matters, including landlord and tenant issues.
4. Assist with administration and legal aspects of the Group's commercial and office premises.
5. Liaise with external solicitors and consultants as required.
Dispute Resolution & Litigation
6. Support timely, cost-effective resolution of disputes without litigation where possible.
7. Coordinate litigation and manage external legal providers to ensure quality and cost control.
8. Liaise with insurers for effective claims management.
Estate Management
9. Advise on residential estate matters, including leaseholder issues and property management agreements.
10. Provide legal guidance on Right to Manage, enfranchisement, and property transfers.
11. Stay updated on landlord and tenant legislation and relevant codes of conduct.
Contracts & Construction
12. Administer contracting policy and review/update standard form contracts.
13. Draft bespoke contracts for non-standard arrangements.
14. Provide training on contract use and risk awareness.
15. Ensure compliance with construction law and best practice.
Regulatory Compliance
16. Advise on laws and regulations affecting the Group.
17. Maintain and update policies on Anti-Bribery, AML, Data Protection, Anti-Slavery, and related areas.
18. Monitor legislative changes and advise accordingly.
Sales & Marketing
19. Support legal aspects of plot sales, part-exchange, and marketing campaigns.
20. Review advertising copy and draft compliant terms for promotions.
21. Advise on agency contracts and regulatory codes.
Land & Multi-Tenure
22. Provide legal advice on land acquisitions/disposals, planning agreements, and infrastructure.
23. Support landlord and tenant matters for new tenancies and management issues.
External Firms
24. Coordinate with external solicitors and monitor outsourced legal costs.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Legal Counsel should have:
25. Strong knowledge of property law and regulations.
