About the Role
The University of Reading is seeking to appoint a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a diverse portfolio of campus development projects to create an outstanding campus environment across the University’s estate.
The Campus Development Project Manager is responsible for managing capital and revenue projects across the university estate. These projects typically comprise new‑build, refurbishment, infrastructure and strategic maintenance projects across a diverse range of buildings and estates including research facilities, teaching facilities, listed buildings, social and recreational space, commercial space, farms and external realm areas. You will manage projects from inception to completion, leading external teams and liaising with internal university stakeholders.

Responsibilities
* Lead and deliver capital and revenue projects across the university estate, including new‑builds, refurbishments, infrastructure and strategic maintenance across a diverse portfolio of properties.
* Manage projects from inception to completion, coordinating external teams and liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure successful handover.
Qualifications
* Proven experience delivering a wide range of construction‑related projects from feasibility to handover, with experience of projects in the £500k to £5m value range.
* Experience in client‑side or consultant project manager roles, or in project architect or building surveying roles aspiring to progress into a client‑side project management career.
