Position: Event Assistant
Location: C7 Conference Centre
C7 Conference Centre is seeking reliable and proactive Event Assistants to join our team. This role is focused on providing hands-on support with event room set-ups and pack-downs, as well as assisting clients on the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and pack down rooms for meetings, conferences, and events
* Move and arrange furniture, staging, and equipment as required
* Ensure rooms are clean, tidy, and ready for guests
* Greet and assist clients on event days, providing professional and friendly support
* Troubleshoot and respond quickly to client needs or last-minute adjustments
* Support catering and refreshment service, including tea and coffee service when required
Requirements:
* Previous experience in events, hospitality, or customer service preferred
* Previous barista experience is highly desired
* Strong work ethic and willingness to perform manual tasks
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Flexible availability, including some evenings and weekends
* Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
