Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred care and support to adults with complex needs, including those with autism and learning disabilities.
* Support individuals to live independently, engage in activities, and achieve personal goals.
* Demonstrate patience, empathy, and resilience in challenging situations.
* Work as part of a team and also independently when required.
* Maintain clear and effective communication with service users, families, and colleagues.
Skills & Experience
* Experience in a caring environment is essential.
* Experience of working with adults with autism.
* Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities.
* Able to work unsociable hours, weekends, and bank holidays.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with service users.
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and work both alone and as part of a team.
* Passionate about making a positive difference in someone’s life.

What we do
We are a well-established, nationwide healthcare provider offering mental health services with a focus on person-centred care. Our homes are designed to meet the varying needs of adults with mental health needs and are located within thriving communities offering educational, recreational, and social activities. Our support workers measure outcomes to individual needs using a person-centred outcome-measuring tool.
Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure prior to commencement; the disclosure expense will be met by the employer.
