About the Role As a Secondary Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons across your specialist subject area while maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback Promote positive behaviour and high standards of achievement Support students' academic, social, and emotional development Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff Uphold safeguarding and school policies at all times What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential Previous experience teaching within a secondary school setting Excellent classroom management and communication skills Strong subject knowledge and a passion for education Adaptable, professional, and committed approach Ability to motivate and inspire young people Team Teach training is a plus and would be highly advantageous Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one Reliable and dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for students Why Join GSL Education?
