Pricing Manager Opportunity!
We’re looking for a Pricing Manager to join a leading business within the manufacturing and construction products industry. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping pricing strategy across the UK, working closely with senior leaders and commercial teams to deliver meaningful impact.
About the Role
As a Pricing Manager, you’ll be at the centre of data‑led pricing decisions. You’ll analyse market trends, competitor activity, and commercial performance to help build pricing frameworks that drive revenue, strengthen margins, and support long‑term growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse pricing data, market trends, and competitor insights to support strategic pricing decisions.
* Develop and maintain pricing models, tools, and frameworks to assess the financial impact of pricing changes.
* Support the rollout of pricing strategies across multiple product lines, services, and UK regions.
* Monitor pricing performance and recommend improvements to enhance profitability and competitiveness.
* Partner closely with sales and commercial teams to provide pricing support for bids, tenders, and major customer contracts.
* Conduct scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis to assess risks and opportunities.
* Prepare regular pricing reports, dashboards, and insights for senior leadership.
* You’ll collaborate with sales, finance, and product teams to ensure pricing strategies are competitive, profitable, and aligned with business objectives.
* Ensure all pricing activity complies with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Essential Skills & Experience
* A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
* Proven experience in pricing, financial analysis, or commercial finance (typically 2–5 years).
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills — comfortable turning data into clear recommendations.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
* Experience with pricing tools, ERP systems, or BI platforms such as SAP, Power BI, or Tableau (advantageous).
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence non‑financial stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail and solid problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience in the manufacturing or construction products sector.
* Understanding of value‑based pricing, cost‑plus pricing, and discounting strategies.
If you’re ready to take your pricing expertise to the next level and make a genuine impact within a growing industry, we’d love to hear from you.
