Teaching Assistant
Location: Redruth, TR16 and the surrounding areas.
Employment Type: Full-time and part-time roles available.
Pay Rate: £110.00 - £115.00 per day, depending on experience.
About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to support teachers and pupils in creating a positive, engaging classroom environment. You'll play a vital role in helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
What You'll Do
* Provide day-to-day classroom support for teachers and pupils across a range of subjects.
* Work one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning and encourage participation.
* Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource setup.
* Support children with additional needs, adapting activities to suit different learning styles.
* Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and inclusion for all students.
* Supervise pupils during break times, outings, or after-school activities as needed.
* Keep accurate records of student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
What We're Looking For
* A friendly, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning.
* Experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting is an advantage.
* Knowledge of SEN (Special Educational Needs) support strategies is beneficial.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) or a willingness to train.
