What You'll Be Doing as a Court of Protection Solicitor
We're on the lookout for a passionate Court of Protection Solicitor to join our dynamic team in the Court of Protection and Trust Department, with a focus on trusts. As a newly qualified solicitor or CILEx, you'll have the opportunity to:
1. Assist trustees in managing the administration of wills, lifetime, and personal injury trusts.
2. Provide valuable inheritance tax advice.
3. Take instructions and draft trusts.
4. Prepare Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA's) and support attorneys in their management.
5. Handle Court of Protection applications and assist deputies in drafting statutory wills.
Minimum Requirements
To thrive in this role, as a Court of Protection Solicitor you'll need:
1. At least one seat or previous experience in the private client department.
Ideal Candidate
We're seeking a passionate, newly qualified solicitor or CILEx member who can advise on a variety of Court of Protection matters. The ideal candidate will:
1. Ensure strict compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.
2. Forge and nurture strong client relationships while contributing to our business development efforts.
3. Possess experience in using data management systems and proficiency in the full Microsoft Office Suite.
4. Be an effective communicator, capable of handling sensitive matters with professionalism and courtesy.
