P6 Planner – Passive Fire Manchester – Hybrid £45,000 - £55,000 Candidate must be eligible for security clearance About the Role We are seeking a skilled P6 Planner with proven experience in Primavera P6 and a solid understanding of passive fire protection. This is a critical role in supporting the delivery of fire safety compliance and integrity across highly regulated environments. As part of a multidisciplinary project controls team, you will play a key role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities related to the design, installation, and inspection of passive fire systems, ensuring alignment with nuclear safety standards and project milestones. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain detailed schedules using Primavera P6 for passive fire projects. * Liaise with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure accurate and realistic planning. * Monitor project progress and performance against baselines and milestones. * Identify critical path activities, schedule risks, and mitigation strategies. * Support earned value management (EVM) and regular reporting to stakeholders. * Ensure compliance with nuclear safety, quality, and procedural standards. * Participate in schedule risk analysis and interface management. Requirements * Proven experience as a P6 Planner within nuclear, defence, or other highly regulated sectors. * Deep understanding of passive fire protection systems, including design, materials, and installation methodologies. * Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office Suite. * Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills. * Ability to work within a high-security, safety-critical environment. * Eligible for SC or higher-level security clearance. * Understanding of fire stopping, fire doors, ductwork protection, and fire-resistant coatings. * APM or PRINCE2 qualifications
