Overview
We are seeking a Product Designer with a passion for finding solutions that allow our internal and external customers to intuitively use our products. The ideal candidate will be skilled at each stage of the design process and focused on the needs of the customer. You will work with other designers, product managers, engineers and cross-functional teams globally to design beautiful interfaces that improve user experiences and help MiQ's app suite drive business outcomes. You will rely heavily on both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions.
What you’ll be doing
In the role you will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following:
* Delivery: Contribute to idea generation and problem-solving through participation in workshops, brainstorms, and collaborative exercises.
* Delivery: Deliver high-quality designs across all design stages, from wireframes and prototypes to high-fidelity mock-ups.
* Delivery: Produce supporting design documentation such as user journeys, wireframes, site maps, and component specifications.
* Project contribution: Manage your own tasks effectively, meeting deadlines and balancing multiple priorities.
* Project contribution: Collaborate with research, product, and engineering teams to ensure user experience metrics are considered.
* Project contribution: Assist in planning and organizing UX/UI workshops, user testing, and feedback sessions to drive continuous improvement.
* Internal collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and technology teams to understand project requirements and identify design opportunities.
* Internal collaboration: Actively participate in design reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
* Internal collaboration: Build relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate to find design solutions for business problems.
* Communication: Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines and standards.
* Communication: Advocate for a strong user experience across products.
* Communication: Communicate clearly and concisely with internal stakeholders and external partners/clients, adapting your style as needed to achieve positive outcomes.

* Experience: At least 2 years experience in Product Design / UX/UI, with a solid understanding of the field.
* Experience: Proficient in Figma and Dovetail, with tools like JIRA, Mixpanel (or similar).
* Experience: Experience working effectively in an agile environment, managing time to meet deadlines.
* Experience: A strong portfolio with compelling case studies that showcase your ability to design user-centered products.
* Experience: Good communication and presentation skills, with experience collaborating across different teams.
* Experience: Exposure to launching new product features or iterations.
* Experience: Participation in or assistance with workshops and usability tests.
* Experience: Working on AI-driven products/features.
* Experience: Foundational understanding and application of UX principles and processes, with familiarity with branding concepts.
* Experience: Proactive and enthusiastic attitude that contributes positively to team energy.
