Strategic Consultant Location : London, Hybrid

A strategic consultant represents a seasoned consultant who can confidently lead the day-to-day aspects of a project and is the point of contact for client interactions. Strategic Consultants are responsible for contributing to the success of the business by developing current client business with support from more senior consultants.
Academic qualifications
2:1 minimum, ideally with a postgrad qualification
4 years + consulting experience in Life Sciences
Project management and client interaction experience
Comfortable and involved in past BD/ proposal development.
Project Leadership
Expansion of project management responsibilities to project leadership:
Routinely manages multiple projects across clients and disease areas.
Increasingly takes on project lead roles in specific accounts.
Ensures the client has confidence in the project team and feels supported.
Ensures that the client needs are fulfilled, and project scope is met.
Proactively communicates any project challenges and identifies solutions.
Ensures project team is prepared for workshops, with roles and responsibilities set.
Project Delivery
Overall accountable for project delivery:
Accountable for maintaining the high quality and consistency of project outputs.
Input into internal team development opportunities (e.g., training programs).
Identifies and pursues opportunities for follow-up work within current projects.
Expands business within current accounts through harvesting.
Supports the generation of new business development opportunities.
Advanced internal management skills supporting feedback and team development.
Able to adopt an adaptive and flexible approach to client situations.
Demonstrates advanced firefighting skills to smoothly manage project challenges & delays.
Demonstrates advanced business development skills for growing current accounts.
