G2 5AD Salary from £42,800 with 10% Annual Bonus and Single Person Healthcare Flexible Working Pattern Closing date: Friday 17th May 2024 Purpose Supporting the Sustainability & Quality Assurance Manager with delivery and implementation of an internal control framework, you will be required to lead on process documentation, creation and improvement. Being responsible for process audit and control assessment, you will also support the Business Analytics & Data Manager with analysing processes to creating new business requirement documentation. Responsibilities Analysing business processes, systems and data, examining key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of established internal controls and identification of opportunities for improvement, you will be responsible for the documenting all assessment findings and recommendations in accordance with internal procedures and industry best practice, ensuring sufficient due diligence exists to support recommendations. Helping develop, implement and maintain the strategy for internal control, you will also hold regular audits of internal processes to ensure adherence to controls, identifying any deviation and potential risk. By identifying opportunities to improve and strengthen the control environment, you will act as the Business Partner to Process Owners, supporting and guiding mitigation strategy and process improvements. Providing guidance within the execution of Control Self-Assessments (CSA), you will translate control deficiencies into action plans, providing recommendations to enhance governance practices in alignment with risk and compliance frameworks. Supporting with the creation of reporting dashboards that cover internal controls and process opportunities, you will also lead on the delivery of ISO objectives for both ISO14001 and ISO9001 and assessment of all GDPR related processes to ensure the correct risk assessment and controls are in place for all processes. Reviewing data sources and data flows, identifying and prioritising points of data quality risks Evaluate data quality results, assessing and clearly communicating the impacts to data users, supporting the resolution of data issues in conjunction with internal stakeholders Additional requirements will include: Providing recommendations to management based on data analysis and control assessments Creating business requirement documentation for any new reporting/dashboard requirements, liaising with key stakeholders across our General Services UK team Cyber-related support for safeguarding controls: Review of non-standard accounts (service, generic and administrative accounts) in the Corporate Active Directory and remediation of compliance gaps Identification and ongoing management of remote access mechanisms not managed by Corporate IT What you'll bring As a minimum, you will be required to hold experience with process mapping software. With a broad knowledge of risk, audit, controls (specifically financial controls, application and IT general controls), you will have an understanding of UK GDPR and business responsibilities. Skilled using Office 365 suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint), you will possess the ability to create and write business requirement documents. Working with data to make accurate assessments and recommendations to business users, you will also hold a solid understanding of data sources, data organisation and storage, with working knowledge of relational databases. Exposure to business intelligence suites and an understanding of their functionality and output (PowerBI) is preferrable, as is general awareness of cyber security and the implications it can have on business controls.
