We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth operation within the dental practice. This role involves managing patient appointments, handling administrative tasks, and creating a welcoming environment for patients. The post will be between two practices, Nelson and Ystrad Mynach.
Responsibilities
* Greet patients warmly as they arrive at the practice.
* Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations efficiently.
* Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services.
* Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
* Process patient payments and insurance claims.
* Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
* Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow.
* Uphold cleanliness and organisation of the reception area.
Requirements
* Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a healthcare setting.
* Administrative experience is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.
* Proficient in using computer systems and dental software.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
