Macaulay Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in September 2025. This is a temporary, part-time position.

Your new role
As a HLTA, you will support teachers in delivering the curriculum and contribute to the development of support staff, pupils, and academy policies. You will collaborate with teaching staff, assist in planning, manage resources, supervise classes during short-term teacher absences, and support pupils' welfare and inclusion. You will use your advanced skills to help raise standards by assisting with planning, monitoring, assessing, and encouraging pupils to become independent learners.
Hours: 24 hours per week / Term time only plus 5 days (39 weeks)
