To join an established Insurance independent broker in Lancashire to build up and maintain a commercial book of business with support from the Account Handling team.
EXPERIENCE
* 5+ years’ experience handling most aspects of Commercial Insurance
* An excellent knowledge of the UK general Insurance market
* Qualified by examination an advantage but not essential with a proven track record
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with new clients and maintain those relationships
* Good existing relationships, although a proven Commercial Insurance sales track record is always considered. Where appropriate an existing bank of business to migrate either immediately or at the end of a covenant period would be an advantage.
* A full UK driving licence.
SKILLS
* Cert CII Qualified or a willingness to work towards this
* Strong organisational skills
* Great communicator and team player
DAY-TO-DAY
* Ability to generate new leads and win new business
* Maintain a book of long-term existing clients
* Working to targets and keen eye for attention to detail
