Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities
* Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
* Serve customers with a friendly and attentive approach, providing information about menu items and daily specials.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including tables, counters, and kitchen equipment.
* Support catering events by preparing food items and assisting with setup and service as needed.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
* Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently when required.
* Assist in training new staff members in café procedures and best practices.
Experience
* Previous experience in a café or restaurant environment is preferred, showcasing your ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
* Experience as a barista is advantageous, along with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques.
* Familiarity with catering services is beneficial but not essential.
* Strong understanding of food safety regulations and practices is required.

Shifts are between the hours of 06:00 to 21:30 (8 hour shifts) and must be flexible across 7 day week.
Excellent rates of pay and benefits.

Pay: £12.50-£17.00 per hour
