Job Description
We are partnering with an established build, refurbishment and facilities management contractor, that are seeking a skilled and driven Senior Estimator to lead its estimating function and oversee the preparation of competitive bids for projects typically valued between £500k and £3m. This is a key leadership role, responsible not only for pricing and tender strategy but also for managing a small team of estimators and contributing to wider commercial planning.

Responsibilities:
You’ll take charge of the full tendering process, including:
1. Leading the development of accurate and commercially viable bid submissions
2. Reviewing tender documentation and preparing pricing for build elements, prelims, and associated fees
3. Identifying cost-saving opportunities through value engineering
4. Managing and mentoring the estimating team to ensure deadlines and standards are met
5. Working closely with senior commercial and operational staff to improve internal processes
6. Supporting bid/no-bid decisions with clear justifications
