With a focus on quality, initiative and results, you will be required to oversee and deliver technical training for our operations team of security technicians and electricians.
Key responsibilities of the role
Design, deliver, and continuously improve national training programs covering:
Security systems: Access Control, CCTV, Intercoms, Intruder Alarm, Vehicle Barriers, Gate Automation, and structured cabling (security, data, fibre)
Electrical compliance: Electrical competence, QA & Compliance, Electrical Lockout/Tag- Out (LOTO), and Structured data cabling and fibre
Business systems and policies: Job management application, QA processes, H&S procedures, and SOP compliance
Onboard new employees and project staff across both disciplines with tailored induction plans
Audit field performance to identify training needs and ensure corrective coaching is delivered
Create, maintain, and report on a national training programme and calendar
Collaborate with branch and project leads to coordinate in-region sessions and follow-ups
Manage training records, certifications, and individual competency progress/status across all teams
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
Minimum 8+ years in the electronic security industry across installations, commissioning, and service roles
Confident, experienced trainer with strong communication and presentation skills, able to lead by example and engage positively with team members at all levels
Detail-focused with excellent documentation, computer literate, highly organised and able to manage multiple training streams
High standard of professionalism, safety minded with excellent customer service
Self-motivated and disciplined when working remotely or travelling
Broad knowledge of both security and electrical site procedures and admin requirements, including Gallagher certification (Engineer/Integrator) preferred and familiar with structured cabling standards and commercial construction norms
