Job Summary
We are seeking an Office Administrator to join our family business, based in Wombwell, Barnsley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of our office.
Duties to include

o Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy- Assist in the preparation and input of customer orders & various other internal reports- Carry out data entry tasks accurately and efficiently- Create sales orders and invoices, both handwritten and through Sage Accounts.- Create delivery schedules for drivers based on orders-Allocate customer payments, prepare statements and general debtor control & management - Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, printing and filing - Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
Personal Skills & Qualities-

o Proven experience as an Office/Accounts Administrator or similar role. Knowledge of Sage Accounting would be a distinct advantage.- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work independently in a neat and organised manner, in a fast paced environment - Good phone etiquette and communication skills- Excellent numerical skills, neat handwriting and a keen eye for detail- Experience & knowledge in using Microsoft Office for office productivity ie Word, Excel. This post would suit someone living locally, able to accommodate an early start time, and with a good general knowledge of local areas to assist with organising deliveries etc. Typical working week would be; Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8am start, although you may be required to work additional hours/days to cover for staff holidays, sickness and seasonal demands. Pay will be weekly in arrears and paid based on hours worked each week.
