Are you a skilled PCV Mechanic looking for a new challenge? We’re seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our maintenance team based in Glasgow, ensuring our fleet of buses and coaches stays in top condition and on the road. Main responsibilities include: Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on PCVs (buses and coaches) Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults Perform MOT preparations and safety checks Maintain accurate service records and documentation Work collaboratively with the workshop team to meet deadlines and standards Requirements: Essential : NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification Proven experience working with PCVs or HGVs Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence (PCV licence desirable but not essential) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable : Full Category D PCV licence (if you don't have it, we can train you through our in-house training school) Benefits: A permanent and secure job Competitive rate of pay based on qualifications and experience Overtime for 6th day paid at time and a half Training and development support Uniform and PPE provided Friendly and supportive working environment Free travel across the West Coast Motors network If you have the drive and determination to succeed in this role, we would love to hear from you.
