2nd Line Support Engineer
Razorblue is looking for a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our growing team of tech professionals. In this role, you will provide exceptional remote technical support for cases that cannot be resolved by our 1st line Engineers.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues via remote support, ensuring SLAs are met and delivering excellent end‑user experiences.
* Conduct onsite troubleshooting at client facilities as needed to resolve complex requests, representing the company positively.
* Coach and mentor junior engineers, sharing technical expertise and driving continuous improvement.
* Act as point of contact and guide the team in the Team Leader’s absence.
Qualifications
We dont expect a perfect fit – we look for enthusiasm to develop over time. Ideal candidates will:
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Have strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Have experience in a corporate or MSP technology environment.
* Administer Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server, and Office 365.
* Hold CompTIA or equivalent apprenticeship / higher education.
* Have a degree or degree‑equivalent qualifications (desirable).
* Adopt a people‑centric approach to service.
* Be competent with Windows desktop and application support.
* Support tablet and mobile devices.
* Troubleshoot networks (ping, traceroute).
* Understand Razorblue’s business, clients, and market.
* Have a good understanding of Veeam Backup & Replication and Microsoft Group Policy.
* Know Azure AD Sync and Azure AD Connect.
* Speak fluent English to explain complex technical issues.
