We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant for a one to one SEND role in a Primary school in Gillingham, starting February through to July, working five days a week. This full time position involves providing dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs, helping them access learning and thrive within the classroom environment. Applicants must have previous experience working in a primary or SEND school, be patient, reliable, and confident supporting individual learning and emotional needs. The Ideal Candidate Experience
* The ideal candidate will have:
* A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years Education
* Experience supporting children and young people on a 1:1 and group basis
* A nurturing and proactive approach to supporting learning and development
* Strong communication and teamwork skills with teachers and other staff
* An understanding of safeguarding and child protection principles
* Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
