W Talent is now looking to recruit several highly motivated Production Team Leaders to join a well-established manufacturing business located in Worksop. As a Production Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the Production Managers with the day-to-day running of operations, driving team performance, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site. Company Information Based in Worksop, our client is part of a wider group of companies supplying purpose-built products across the UK. With a strong portfolio of trusted brands, the business is now looking to expand its leadership team through the appointment of several Production Team Leaders. Key Responsibilities Manage a team of production operatives with full accountability for daily performance, including meeting key KPIs. Make key operational decisions in the absence of the Production Manager. Take responsibility for all areas of the production facility, providing clear and consistent communication to other team members. Support and monitor new team members, identifying training and development needs. Assist with production tasks and ensure smooth shift handovers, including completion of all relevant documentation. Work closely with the Quality team to manage product defects, carrying out root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions. Monitor and manage absence and lateness, disciplinary issues, holiday allocation, and sickness cover. Key Requirements To be considered for a Production Team Leader position in Worksop, you should ideally have: Experience in a Team Leader, Supervisory, or Shift Management role within a manufacturing or production environment. A proven ability to drive manufacturing improvements and lead by example. Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organisation. A leadership style focused on the training and development of production employees. Salary & Benefits The salary for this position ranges from £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and shift pattern. In addition, the role includes a contributory pension scheme and access to a variety of shift options, including days, nights, or a rotating pattern of days and afters, which can be discussed in more detail at the interview stage.
