Are you a dedicated and experienced High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for supporting students across Key Stages 1 and 2? This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated HLTA to make a real difference in the lives of Key Stage 1 and 2 students.
HLTA Responsibilities:
As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting students across Key Stages 1 and 2. Your responsibilities will include:
* HLTA support across the school, supporting students and staff.
* Leading PPA cover across classes in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
* Providing one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their individual needs are met.
* Collaborating with the class teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans.
* Assisting in the preparation and delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the class teacher.
* Creating a positive and nurturing learning environment for all students.
HLTA Requirements:
* Previous experience as a HLTA across Key Stages 1 and 2.
* Have a thorough understanding of different learning needs and strategies to address them effectively.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
* Show enthusiasm, resilience, and empathy towards students' individual needs.
* Have a valid Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
* Be local or willing to commute to the Gillingham area.
