As part of our continued growth across the Oxford and Thames Valley region, we are seeking a talented and ambitious Site Engineer to join our Regional Civils team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly respected infrastructure business delivering a diverse portfolio of highways, structures, public realm, drainage and heavy civil engineering projects for both public and private sector clients.
What you'll be doing
As a Site Engineer you will be:
* Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project requirements
* Ensuring works are delivered safely and in line with company procedures
* Managing quality assurance processes and maintaining accurate site records
* Coordinating subcontractors and supporting site teams
* Assisting with short-term planning and programme delivery
* Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs and as-built documentation
* Supporting commercial and project management teams with progress reporting
* Ensuring compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.
Who we’re looking for
You will have the following:
* Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
* Strong setting out and surveying capabilities
* Knowledge of highways, drainage, earthworks or structures works
* Understanding of health, safety and quality procedures
* HNC/HND or degree qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline
* CSCS card and a full UK driving licence
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
